Flashback to this day last year when Claire appeared on Ireland AM with the lovely Clare McKenna to talk about Keeping Your Children’s Toys Clean.
It is so strange looking back a year later to think this segment came about because we were starting to get concerns about a new disease coming from China. There we are, in studio and without masks! Within three weeks the country was locked down and we are still living with it a year later.
Also it makes us laugh to remember all the abuse I received online from people saying “what a waste of time” and “we never cleaned toys when we were young” and “germs are good for kids”. Little did we know a few weeks later everyone would be scrubbing their shopping bags and fighting over hand sanitizer.
